TERMS OF USE
This page describes the terms governing the use (« Terms of Use ») of the website https://www.taranis.eu / (the « Site ») published by TARANIS as identified in the section « Legal Information » below (the “Company”).
Please read these Terms of Use carefully; they apply to every visitor to the Site. If you would like to access, browse, or otherwise use this Site, you must review and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use either in whole or in part, you should not use the Site, or print or download any information from it.

1. Purpose
The Site is intended for the presentation of the Company’s activities and to support the Company’s recruitment activities and will allow you, in the “Careers” section, to:
Obtain information about the Company and the careers it offers;
Search for and peruse positions, VIE (Volunteer for International Experience) and work-linked study placements, and internships offered at the Company (“Offers”);
Apply for job offers or submit a spontaneous application.

2. Publication of company offers
The Company endeavours to make sure that Offers do not, on their date of publication, contain any statements that are false or likely to mislead you, in particular as regards the existence, availability, source, nature, and description of the open position or internship, the remuneration and benefits offered, or the place of work.
The Company also strives to update the Site and Site information regularly, including by promptly removing Offers for positions that have already been filled. However, it is possible for an Offer to remain on the Site despite the position having been filled. To the extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims all liability for any lack of precision, inaccuracy, or omission in information or Offers published on the Site.
The Company reserves the right to modify or delete Offers and information published on the Site at any time, at its sole discretion.

3. Application process and creation of an applicant account
You can use the Site to respond to Offers posted by the Company, submit a spontaneous application. To do so, you must be at least 18 years of age unless your legal representative has given prior consent. You must accept these Terms of Use by ticking the box provided.
You undertake to provide us with complete, accurate, up-to-date information.
You are responsible for all information and content you submit to the Company through the Site. You must make sure such information and content does not infringe any third-party rights and that it is free of all computer viruses.
Any personal data that you provide to the Company in this context – first and last name, address – will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Company review of applications

4.1 Selection of Candidates
Your application will be examined by members of the Company’s Human Resources department, appropriate operational personnel, and any other relevant person at the Company.
If your application is selected, the Company will invite you to participate in the recruitment process by contacting you using the contact information you provided.
Offers are not binding on the Company, which may decide not to fill the open position or not to select an application even if the candidate’s profile matches the Offer.

4.2 Non-Discrimination
The Company will not reject an application from the recruitment process or a position, internship, or work-linked study or VIE placement based the candidate’s origin; sex; morality; sexual orientation; gender identification; age; family situation; pregnancy; genetic characteristics; special vulnerability due to the candidate’s presumed or known financial circumstances; actual or presumed membership or non-membership in an ethnic group, nation, or supposed race; political opinions; trade union (or equivalent) activity; holding of local elective office; religious convictions; physical appearance; surname; place of residence or bank domiciliation; or due to the applicant’s state of health, restricted autonomy or disability, or ability to speak a language other than French.

You hereby authorise the Company to contact you directly in the process of handling Offers and the recruitment process, using the contact information provided when submitting your application. This includes, for example, following up on an application you have submitted, sending you offers that match your profile, or sending you other service messages.
You may ask the Company to delete your personal data the Company has collected in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Policy.  

6. Changes to the terms of use
The Company may revise and modify these Terms of Use.
Certain provisions of the Terms of Use may be superseded by expressly designated legal notices or special terms of use for certain pages of the Site.
These Terms of Use were last updated on January 26th, 2024.

7. Disclaimer
All information and materials (hereinafter collectively the « Information ») displayed on the Site are provided by the Company for informational purposes only. The Company posts the Information on the Site at its discretion.
Without prejudice to the provisions of Article 2 above, Site users should not assume that Information on the Site has been updated or contains current or complete information. The Company does not review past postings to ensure they remain accurate, current, and complete, and information in such past postings may be obsolete.

If it is technically feasible to do so, the Company will inform you in advance of interruptions or suspensions likely to affect your use of the Site. The Company declines all responsibility for any modification or interruption of the Site.

You agree that you will not use this Site for any illegal, fraudulent, unauthorized, or improper activity. If the Company suspects that you may be engaging in any prohibited use, including any violation of these Terms of Use, the Company may seek to have you held liable.

When browsing the Site, some of your data is collected either automatically by means of « cookies », or when you provide the data to us to enable us to examine your application. Data is processed in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy are deemed an integral part of these Terms of Use.

11. Applicable law
You may send the Company your claims or requests for information pertaining to the Site, its operation, or these Terms of Use by email to contact@taranis.eu.
The present Terms of Use are governed by the laws of France. Only French courts will be considered competent to rule on disputes directly or indirectly relating to the existence, interpretation or performance of these Terms of Use.

12. Intellectual property

12.1 Copyright
This Site is owned by the Company. The layout and each of its components, including all images, text, programs, and other materials on the Site belong to the Company or to its affiliates and are protected by current intellectual property laws.
No component of the Site may be used (copied, reproduced, altered, modified, downloaded, distorted, transmitted or distributed in any manner whatsoever either in whole or in part) without the prior express written consent of the Company, except solely for use by the press, on condition the Company’s and its affiliates’ intellectual property rights and all other proprietary rights mentioned are respected. Copying is only permitted for your personal, private, non-commercial use on your personal computer.
The Company and its affiliates reserve the right to take any measure or step, including legal action, to put an end to any infringement of their rights, in particular intellectual property rights, and reserve the right to seek damages for any such infringement.
