Energy for Africa is dedicated to developing energy availability and access across the African continent.

We focus on developing and operating renewable power assets in emerging markets, including solar, wind, small scale hydroelectric, geothermal and battery storage (BESS) technologies .

From the blueprint to operation

Energy is the key to economic and social development. This is the central conviction that guides our work.

Focus

Improve energy access in Africa by investing in power generation, with a focus on renewable energies and distributed utility-scale and commercial and industrial (C&I) projects.

Sector Targeted

Renewable energies, mid and large utility-scale power projects and mid and large C&I projects.

Investment Stage

We focus on deploying capital at project level, coupling operating assets with co-developing projects through strategic partnerships.

Long term perspective

Our strategy is to constitute a leading regional platform as a long-term independent power producer (IPP), building a sustained presence in Africa’s energy landscape.

Geographies

We invest across the African continent, with a focus on regions where power access is limited and renewable energy can drive long-term development.

Our goal is to build a platform across the African continent that will sustainably produce energy for local utilities as well as for the industrial sector.

Strengthened by strategic partnerships, our projects ensure we create lasting and positive impact. At the core of our development approach, lies the commitment to empower local communities.

Impact

As part of our commitment to responsible development, we commission third-party Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) before each project to identify potential risks and impacts and ensure that local feedback is heard and integrated early on.

This approach supports our broader goal of enhancing local value creation and reinforcing every project with meaningful corporate social responsibility initiatives.
