Taranis is an investment and impact project development entity of a family-owned group.
About
Born from the vision of our Chairman, François Perrodo, Taranis represents the natural evolution of an independent, family-owned company rooted in innovation and social responsibility.
Building on our industrial heritage, we leverage our expertise in the pursuit of a fair and sustainable energy transition. Unlike traditional investment funds, we adopt the position of an active operator envisioning a long-term, high-impact strategy where people and innovation are at the centre of each impactful initiative.
Our way of working is defined by direct involvement in our investments and project development. With a unique model at the intersection of industrial expertise, technical innovation, and societal engagement, Taranis is redefining how to approach the global challenges of energy, sustainability, and environmental and social responsibility.
“At Taranis, we don’t just invest — we nurture lasting impact.”
A message from Emmanuel Colombel, CEO:
“Building on our industrial heritage, we leverage our expertise in the pursuit of a fair and sustainable energy transition. As an active investor, project developer and operator with a long-term vision, we place people and innovation at the centre of every initiative.
Whether we are turning waste into value, restoring degraded ecosystems, or building access to affordable renewable energy, our goal is always to deliver tangible solutions to real-world challenges.
By bridging industrial expertise with innovation and societal engagement, we are shaping new ways to address the global challenges of energy and sustainability.
Across our portfolio of investments and projects, our diverse and globals teams work as one — bringing together ambition, skill, and commitment to turn vision into action.”
As the CEO of Taranis, the investment and impact project development arm of the family Group, Emmanuel Colombel leads strategic efforts to accelerate the Group’s diversification and long-term sustainability ambitions. Prior to this role, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Perenco for over a decade and previously held various leadership positions as Financial Director and Subsidiary Director across multiple international subsidiaries of Perenco.
